Shoes

Duke's Sporting Goods will be at the school around 3:00 tomorrow to size the shoes for the boys team. Cost be either $65 or $75 depending upon which ones are available.

2009 Middle School Jamboree 10/31/09 @ LCHS

The 6th annual Middle School Jamboree will be Saturday October 31st. Admission will be $3.00. Game will consist of 4 - 9 minute quarter.
The Chandlers boys will play the Russellville boys at 4:00pm.

OCT 12th Tryouts

Tryouts start on Monday Oct 12th. Must have completed sports physical on file.
If you make the team we will be having practice on Saturday at LCHS. The high school coaches will be putting on a clinic.

Meeting today about tryouts

Had about 50 boys who expressed interest in trying out for
the Bears Boys basketball team.
MUST HAVE COMPLETED SPORTS PHYSICAL ON FILE to tryout.

Kentucky Workout

One of the drills we will be doing daily is called Kentucky Workout.
It is a ball handling drill and you will perform the following moves
as you drive to the basket for a layup.
Crossover dribble
Hesitation dribble
Stutter step dribble
In/Out dribble
Behind the back dribble

When the team is finalized we will be doing most of
our drills left-handed.
